The following are just a few examples of ways you can support people, organizations and programs to increase the well-being of others.

Identify a need or project in advance

Email a service club or non-profit where you  will be visiting ahead of time and ask about local needs.   Ask your friends to contribute.  Bring back photographs, stories and opportunities to share.

Take children's art supplies with you

Pack crayons, pens, pencils, basic class-room supplies, books for all ages, a ream of paper for a printer to donate to a school....the list is endless.

Discover a need or project and bring home a list

When in conversation with a Mayan whose village you are visiting, for example, you learn that the village school lacks computers and internet connection. You exchange contact information. Back at home, your computer research leads you to New World Villages with whom you can discuss possibly partnering in a project.
